Just curious if anyone knows what happens if ,when you put a cam in your bike and don't line up the timing marks on the breather gear with the cam gear???My bike runs sweet but I have noticed that the oil tank seems to fill right up to almost overflow point afer a few k's...Maybe it's a case of too much oil in the tank and when it heats up this is what happens...The only other this is the breather timming may be wrong but I don't know if this is what happens if it is...

Over filled the tank. Oil level is taken when engine is at normal operating temp.

If the breather gear was installed improperly the bike would likely smoke and push oil out of the gaskets. Sounds like you had to much oil in the tank as AJ56 suggested. dsv
