I'm planning to head across on the Friday as well. Just don't know if it will be from Adelaide or Melbourne. Should have some idea by this weekend.

 

Anyway what is happening this year.... just a tad over 2 weeks to go and it just does not seem to have the same hype as previous years... there hasn't even been individual ride sections created.... WTF is going on??????

 

Anyone meeting up off the Western Ring road/Western Freeway near the Rockbank area on Friday for the ride over? I'm coming up from Gippsland and would like to meet and ride to E'hope with others as we did last year.

 

My plans are now very much up in the air since being offered a job in Melbourne. My making this ride depends on how early next week I get the final contract details as I want to spend a week up in Laos with my girl before starting work. 

Current thinking is to ride to Melbourne on Wed 26th and then fly out to Asia the same evening and then arrive back into Melbourne on Fri 4th, pick up the bike and head to Edenhope and start work the following week.

It's pushing it so I might just end up taking it a little easier and not rush back for Edenhope.....

 

not long now guy n gals the cup is the 1st tuesday so all good there , there is  a ride/car run here on the  sunday , am trying to get it changed to saturday ,  im excited )))))

 

shit... was getting all concerned, but have checked and yes the cup is on the 1st which is when I'm planning on being in Asia.

Still trying to make plans so I don't miss Edenhope so we will have to see.

Oz... I'll be working at Macleod. Not sure where I'll end up living but it certainly won't be Wozza's (thanks RT.. lol). I'll probably use a backpacker joint for the first couple weeks until I get a chance to look around and see what type of joint I want and where...

 

 

well it looks like at this point I'm going to have to miss the Pub Run..... going to be a couple more days before I receive attachments to employment contract and as such I don't see myself heading up to see my lady till this weekend which means I probably wont get back to Oz till around the 7th Nov...

I distinctly remember the hype last year about how huge this one was gunna be, being over a weekend and all.

It is with great displeasure that I must announce that this will be the first year with a Bear free Pub Run. Shattered.
The 3am crew will have to find a new member to help prop up the bar and poor Edna will miss out on her birthday surprise.

Sorry for the late notice team, but work smells and has no friends, and this one can't be avoided. Speaking of work though, I do have a bunch of black L, XL and XXL Motorcycle Trader T-Shirts that I was going to give out to any interested parties at the run. If there's anyone likely to be swinging past anywhere near Oakleigh in the leadup and has a bit of space in a pannier, let me know and I'll pass em on.

I'll be there in Spirit, the particular spirit of course being Jameson.
