    JUST A QUERY ON AN 07 NOSTALGIA WHICH HAS A HD BADGE EMBLEM AND #125/200 ON THE REAR r?h CNR OF THE gAS tANK,  INDICATING MAYBE ONLY 200 OF THESE SPECIAL PAINTJOBS DONE???   IT IS A DEEP CANDY BROWN WITH A  RED FLASH ACROSS THE TANK

    ANYBODY KNOW WHAT ELSE THE #125 CAN MEAN.....CHASSIS STARTS WITH 1HD1JD5518Y..........

    INDICATING MAYBE ONLY 200 OF THESE SPECIAL PAINTJOBS DONE??? -- Yes I believe so.

    Not sure if you are aware of this or not but of possible interest is that IF the bike is presently in Oz it was imported here from the American market. If it was an international model the VIN number would have "5HD1xxx" instead of "1HD1xxx" (1 indicating the bike was built for the Yank market)..

    BTW welcome to the board-- have you posted an introduction in that section as yet?

    I thought the Deluxe replaced the Nostalgia back in 04 or 05...wasn't the Nostaglia also called the Moo-Glide.

    agree numbering like this on tins usally mean it was a limited edition....then again anyone can put this on any tins...maybe check with Aus Harley or USA Harley

    THANKS v2 AND OTHERS FOR RESPONSE & CORRECT RE THE NUMBER OF PAINT JOBS AS THE NUMBER, AND THE VIN, 1ST OF MANY IMPORTS I HAVE HAD ARRIVE NUMBERED  AS SUCH. I DO HAVE ANOTHER 20 ODD BIKES AVAILABLE FOR SALE, SO I WAS QUITE INTERESTED TO SEE THE COMMENTS RE IMPORTS...

    BUT ANY ONE THATS BEEN IN THE GAME LONG ENOUGH WILL KNOW ITS BEEN HAPPENING FOR YEARS & ALL DEPENDING ON THE A $$ VALUE AGAINST THE GREEN BACK FOR 40 YRS, MY 1ST SHIPMENT WAS INTO MELB. IN THE MIDDLE 70,S...... BUT CERTAINLY BUYER BEWARE AS ONE MENTIONED BE READY TO ADD ANOTHER $5000 TO YOUR USA PURCHASE PRICE & 6 MTHS FROM BUY TO REGO JUST FOR STARTERS.
