2007 Sportster - what fuel - servo etc

I hate asking questions like these since I'm a big believer in RTFM and searching, but I'm so freakin tired and I need to get up (and fuel up) early so I have to ask; what fuel/type/servo do you use?  I went into two servos today (caging it) and both attendants looked at me like I asked for next weeks lotto numbers when I ask what octance rating their fuels were...

The book for the 2007 model says 91 octane, though I thought regular unleaded is 87 and premium (like vortex) are 95?  So...?

    Any help much appreciated.

    YAWN!!!!

    Thanks for the reply.
Your answer pretty much sums up the other answers I got - everyone seems to have a different opinion and most aren't set in their choice...lol.
The manual says 91 so as long as it wont do any damage I think I'll just try regular unleaded first and see how I go.

I'm going to try a higher octane when this tank runs out. The bike ran smooth, but the more I read the more I get the feeling that the higher octane is much better for the engine. I'm still wondering why the manual says 91 when most other sources say the lower octane with gunk up everything and possible shorten the bikes life span...
