That'a a shame...I've only ever had good service from that crew...but after reading the above site...its a bit of a worry isn't it. Hmmm, I wonder how Zanotti's are going.

It's my understanding from 'visiting' over there that HD is putting pressure on the 20% discount dealers to either completely stop heavy discounting, or at least stop advertising it-- depending on who one listens to... I use M&M and hope they are still good to go...

LOL! I reckon it's that rat bastid Gerry "no nuts" Harvey whinging about discount internet sellers (while he has a swim with his squillions in the pool). Notice how he has now STFU since he got a big kick in the backside locally?

    Power to the People!

I put an order  in with CHD last October, it took 7 weeks to get here, after 3 emails with no reply & 3 phone calls I just said to them send what you have & cancel rest of order. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH CHD EVER AGAIN.

Items that were cancelled with CHD, I ordered from Mark (M&M), was here in 2 weeks.

Confuscus say "if seem to good to be true it probably is".

you'll only get caught out once then the promised savings are just that - Promised!

I hear more horror stories than good and I wonder how many of the good are real vs tall poppie bashing?????????????????????????? it's cost me more than it is worth - I'll stay local and then I can face up to anyone with any issues.

These pricks are dodgy not just for sending stuff to Aust but in the US as well. People in the US are getting pissed at them for not sending stuff.

On the US HD Forums site those customers that had paid with a credit card have raised a dispute with their bank and got their money back.

Harley is putting the screw on everyone...dealerships don't want you buying over-seas and saving money.  I started buying aftermarket on most of my things...even then, MAP policies prevent many sites from advertising their "real" selling price.  Some MAP policies prevent shops from even saying "email for price".  I get most of my stuff from mandmcycles.com.  You have to add the item to your cart and you will get a quote emailed to you with their price. Price and service there is pretty good.  It seems like the industry in general is trying to make everyone pay top dollar for parts...but there are places you can get good price/service...just have to look for them and ask around.

Isn't there a H-D dealer in Mt Isa?

Gotta be better to go see them about a deal than paying $153  for thin air and stress?

Too much of this shit going on with O/seas internet sellers riupping p[eople off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
