I posted on these forums a few months ago, but got busy and never followed it up. So probably a good idea to re-introduce myself.
My name is Nathan, and I live in Brisbane. I've been living here for a month and a half now, after making the move from Kansas in the US. The city is amazing, and I'm absolutely loving it. Working as a telemarketer for Telstra right now... which believe me is the worst job ever. As for my bike I've got a 76 Ironhead Sportster, an XLH 1000cc. I blacked it out and kept it pretty stock except for the bobtail rear fender.
Anyways, when I posted a few months ago I was just getting ready to ride my Harley from near the Missouri border in southeast Kansas to Los Angeles to have my bike shipped to Brisbane. I had to cut out some major stops on the journey but still made it the 3200km to LA. Just took a bit of welding. haha. I'll post some pictures in another thread if anyone is interested.
After three months of my bike sitting in a storage container in LA, My bike will finally be here on the 22nd.
So are any Brisbane people interested in a ride? I can't wait to get out on the road, see Queensland, and meet the local bikers.
