I see the reasoning behind wanting it removed, but, freedom of speech & the fact that the ladies could have 2 guys there if they desired makes me vote to keep it.
Life's too bloody short to worry.

We'll there's already avatars on this forum that are bawdy enough so that I can't open this site at work or in front of the kids anymore. But then it is a Harley forum so ya could say expect it.

My personal opinion (seeings how you asked for it) : If you want porn go to a porn site. Keep this one related to bikes.

I guess it all comes down to the question of if you want the lady forum members to stay around, cause if that was an avatar of Gay chubby porn I'd be outa here

I too see both side of the issue, My son 13 veiws this site with me (not by himself) as some of the content I need to have to explain to him (and some he explains to me hahaha)

If you/we want more ladies to join the forum then I think a taming down would be advisable.

Oh and my wife thinks yep it should be removed as she dont like it (she is rarely here and never without me )

I didn't know the ladies weren't allowed anywhere else on the forum.
I would suggest if you would like the friendly interaction with all members of the forum community, then this needs to be considered in the final outcome. Either that or jilli will post the gay guys kissing as her avatar and haunt your posts......then everyone will leave...

The site was set up to further the interests of Harley owners and bring us together with riding and motorcycles in mind. Avatars are a side issue and does little for the content, KC would have to be the final arbiter on what is acceptable and what is not.

It does show a worrying trend when an avatar can attract more attention than some bike related threads.

I can see the complaint as sad, although the kiss is sexual, men shake hands when the see a mate, woman kiss and if good friends a cuddle as well, how can there be a complaint if the same is done on almost a daily occurrence.
