Just a near stock 08 883 custom. Main reason I got a custom over the low (which was a none blacked out iron pretty much available at time, iron released later) was more suspension, bigger tank and fwd controls as i planned highway trips.
Maybe a laced wheel XL883L would fit the bill.

883L with laced wheels.
If you like chrome and the bigger tank, maybe a 1200C as it has chrome motor as well.
Also has different rises, headlight and bigger front wheel compared to iron. Conventional tail light as well. 883C doesn't have chrome engine std.
Fair enough, think about what you are going to spend buying parts to get the iron to where you want in your decision as well.
