Finally got the bike back together today and took it for a quick test ride after the big bore. I didn't get a chance to gun it as I want everything to settle in for the first 200 k's, but it seems to go great. Finished off the rear fender over the weekend and put some finishing touches on like the seat and a few other bits. The seat turned out good, it was the solo seat I had previously, but got it lowered and re-covered.
All that's left now is to finish of the flames, I'm going to do some red highlights when time permits and then it's onto the wheels.
Here's a few pics:
Sorry Kingchop you have probably already mentioned it but because I'm a lazy bastard can you tell me what those bars are?
Thanks dudes.
Yearh Oz, I'll try and get out over the next few days and take some decent pics with it.
I'm pretty happy with the way it's turning out, pretty spot on with what I had in mind, ie 50's hot rod drag bike.
Great stuff KC, am bettin' it looks even better in the flesh so hope to see it on Australia Day... Sump...
If only I had the time and lived in the city for the resources!
Job well done KC. Very smick indeed.
