I have purchased a solo seat CVO part No 52279-06A with the chrome tail piece part no 51829-06 for my 08 fat boy. the seat fits but when I attach the chrome tail piece to the seat there is a gap of approx 25mm from the rear part of the seat to the start of the chrome tail piece. When I line up the seat and tail piece on the rear fender the mounting hole for the tail piece lines up with the screw  thread in the guard. So overall the seat lines up with the mounting holes but there this gap. The part numbers are correct the only thing I see is the Chrome tail section is the incorrect one for the package part number. Is there anyone who has this seat and chrome tail piece installed I would like to know what the length of the chrome tail piece is from the centre of the mounting hole to the start of the chrome tail section which inserts into the back of the solo seat chrome section?
