I've had a couple of requests for info on this so i'll put it up here for all to see.

Harley Drags at Willowbank Raceway, Champions Way Willowbank.

The next one is on Sat. 12th Feb. Gates open at 2.30pm, on track from 3.00pm

Heaps of trial runs early * then the racing is a round robin format, everyone races three times & the 2 best riders go to the final.

It is sponsored by Morgan & wacker & there are prizes on offer.

This is a hell of a lot of fun & a good chance to see just what your bike will do down the quarter mile, when the green light drops the bullshit stops.

Basic safety gear is obviously a requirement ie; long pants, leather jacket, boots NOT JOGGERS or the like, gloves & a full face helmet.

If you need more info ask away.

I'm a big definable maybe. I went last year to the first round and had a ball, it was the first meet for me on the dyna what fun. I trailer-ed it down being 10 hours away and the whole family in the car. I might try and do it alone and ride down and camp out somewhere. Thanks Papa Smurf

We are hangin out for this.
Drag racing for us is usually a little stressful so to go out to just purely have some fun is going to be great.

We will be taking the bike out in the ute (the missus wants the aircon) so if you guys have anything you need to keep safe we can lock it up in the ute for ya.
Will be great to catch up with the guys we know & also to meet you guys coming from out of town.

    What a blast that was.
Was great to catch up with Sonny & finally meet Rob (S&F) & Paul Fastapastor.
Not such a good day for Rob but i'll let hin tell the story.
Me, i had a ball. Got 6 runs in, somehow dragged a 12.90 sec pass out of the bike & pulled one of the biggest wheelies ever.
Still laughing about it & can't get the smile off my face.

That photo's pretty close to the real thing Sonny for Puppa.

Well Skulls&Flames and I left Springsure at about 12.30 on friday and took off stoping at Rolleston Injune Roma then dashing to Miles to stop for the night. Up at 6 on the bikes by 6.30 stopping at Dalby then turning off to Kingarory thro Nanango Kilkoy and made it to Cabolture to the Rob's mechanic by 11.45. It was cool to watch Jeff pull the primary off disconect the rear wheel and put the new pully and belt on and put it all back together by 1.10.Then thro Brissy and made it to Willowbank by 2.40 signed up and off to racing. I love this sport. I was so happy when I beat a Vrod on my first pass. (proberbly not the bike I beat but the rider) My best for the day was 12.57 @ 105mph/169kmh. The new bridgy on the back worked a treat with me pulling the front wheel an 1"  or 2 off the line each time with no wheel spin (nothing like Puppa's launch skywards).

Crashed at my brothers place left this morning at 8.30 had a small issue with my fob needing a new battery while in Gympie then thro Kilkivin up the range to Tansy ( scaped my pegs both sides and wore through my new wrap on my pipes) Stopped at Gaynda thro Eidsvold Cracow Theodore Moura Rollston then home by 5.30. Had a good weekend on the bike. I'm going to bed.

Um yeah took the wrong turn at Dalby. Weren't ment to go to Kingaroy. Went through Yarraman had to wait 30min as part of the range was closed due to landslides.

No worries Rob. Any time mate.
HAHA, one run got your attention eh? Be careful mate the bug bites bloody hard. LOL
Chain drive sounds like the go for that 106.
Yeah, winter is better comfort wise in leathers but when you are as addicted to it as we are you ignore the elements & get out there every single chance you get.
I think you might be right with Paul's "boss" helping him out too, especially with some of the lights he was cutting.

Ha Big Jim didn't come I tried to get him  to come I told ya that S&F.    Yeah the man looks after us all, It's just reckognising it when it happens, He's good to me. Never got in trouble on the way home either, and they followed me for a while while I rode slow. Then they turned off and I went back to my normal travel speed.

Maybe we could look at an overnighter at Benaraby on time??? Not hot at night.
