    Forget trying to get new get what you can afford and maintain instead. aint nufffin wrong with the older bikes IMHO I got mine and never once have I thought "Why didnt I go New" The upside is, if you look around and take our time chances are ther will be a few extras on it and if there where any issues from new they will have been fixed

    mine is a 92  883 converted to 1200 ,5 speed belt drive with just a little added

    Welcome from an ex West Aussie, Cruzn! I have an '07 883 and love it, it will be a slow process to get "things" done to it, but that's fine.  Enjoy looking for yours, you will love it once you have it.....
