I'm coming over from Canada and I couldn't justify spending $3500 to ship my bike there so hoping to lease 1 for a week or 2 while visiting my kid in melbourne.anyone have a line on a reasonable rental place or...??

yeah Flan 3500 was a bit steep alright but  would have been good to have my own machine over there!!!! the companies shipping out of here "Vancouver BC" have the monopoly and pretty much charge what they want even though its the same distance as LA  California!

damn ,should have thought to post this back in december!!  chopweeza what did he pay for sea frieght if you don't mind me asking and what company did he use? I understood that all vehicles imported had to be basic stock factory specs.is that not the case? what is your import duties like there?

and who if you know air frieghts to Aus if you know?

I'm thinking it'll be hard getting rid of the old fat boy after all these years but maybe its time,We have the Vancouver bike show going on this week end and I'm gonna go check out the street glides maybe my next choice ,but fuel injection gives me headache thinking about it and paying Harley for all these fuckin upgrades "STAGE 1,STAGE 2, STAGE.....WTF is that? I figure tune it to go like hell right outta the box for fuck sake ,Right!!!!
