Hi I was wondering if anyone has converted their standard sportster indicators to nighster style integrated brake/running/turn signals.
I have seen a few kits on ebay US but not really suited to Australia as they just flash red, with no amber like the oz versions have.
I have also come across 'dog eye' LEDs which will do this, but mentions using load equalizers and the like which I know nothing about.
I'd imagine the harley parts would be dear to buy?
Have just chipped paint off my rear guard so figure I may as well cut it down and clean up the rear end of bike at same time it gets painted. Will use the laydown licence plate holder I have and just put some LED number plate bolts in and cut the taillight part of guard as thats roughly where nightster and iron come to anyway.
Have also seen ones for front that would be white running and amber turn, sort of like subtle auxiliary running lights which I thought would look alright as well.
Believe they run a different module or something, LEDs are better anyway. Will find out what it costs from dealer.
