i thought i might ask before i put down my hard earn cash for a 48,  which dealer would the best to go to and what is the best price going around for a 48 atm.

i been to harley heaven - peter stevens in the city, the want 16,600 drive away with no added goodies

Anyone know what the cost of optional pillion seat?

You can definitely fit the pillion peg kit, like what Uncle Ho put up, and that's about what I paid for mine too. For the pillon seat, I got a sundowner, which replaces the whole existing seat with what is meant to be a more comfortable/touring one. It's a big fat wide one and I don't think it's the right shape for my arse so I'll be selling it soon. I think I paid around 320 for it. It's quite good for the pillion that one.

hi i just purchased a 48 from peter stevens ringwood and paid,$ 16625 with stamp duty, sales tax. tax for bieng taxed and tax tax tax..cost me $19450, with vance hines shorties, screaming eagle air filter stage one kit, and screaming eagle performance chip.yeah not much chance of a discount but thats life.....the branch manager chris is very helpfull and picked my bike up after id purcased it, fixed the issues i had and returned it the next day.....

finally paid the deposit to day for a 48, for the list price.

pillion seat for 450 and fat boy headlight for 600.

whats a good website for getting these parts from US, much cheaper?

I've got a 7" chrome headlight assembly with mounting boss minus the lamp, off my deluxe if you guys are interested, $75. Just need to buy the lamp which is about $160 from the dealers. You can throw away the visors if you don't like them.
