As the title suggests, has anyone here bought a joker machine speedo relocator for an iron 883?

Was thinking of getting one myself but never seen em in the flesh, or talked to anyone that had used one.

Any help or advice for or against welcome.

    Hello SJ.

I got one but have not put in on the bike as I do not have one as yet. All I cand say is that it looks really good and in my view worth the money.

I purchased it on e-bay, I also have foot pegs, fuel cap and air cleaner. These are some of the bits I'm putting on my Iron once I get one.

Anyone know a melb shop that stocks joker machine stuff... or any other aftermarket mobs that do similar bracket/ fittings?

hi SJ, i have one on my iron, good quality i bought mine directly from joker machine cant remeber how much, the only problem was the indicators were just slightly
in the way not much, i relocated them to my front forks anyways, it gives the front of the bike a fatter look cause you see more of the forks,
The side mounted speedo looks shit hot it gives the bike a less clutered look on your bars, i have drag bars on mine as well, got my 2 in tank lift and coil and ignition
elocation kit the other day from the US, ordering some forward controls of Walka this week.
Go for it mate they do look great

Is it easy enough to keep tabs on speed on a hwy trip, and would you notice if oil light came on?

Im a sound engineer..... so as an official nerd, I judge my speed off the pitch of my bikes revs (or the musical note - eg my current bike sounds like a G# at 60km/ph in 3rd gear, or a C at 60km/ph in 2nd). Easiest way to explain it is that everyone knows say that their bike rattles or vibrates at 90 or 100, but smoothes out at 120 - 130.... thats kinda the same way of assuming speed. I just work with finer tuned notes every day. Im sure all good mechanics have a great ear for notes.

    EG

The speedo cable on my jap bike broke 2 years ago, and havent bothered to fix it. No fines as yet.... mostly city work and highways where I know where to look for cams though.

So does anyone have one of these, they have had for a while for any feedback?

I'd like to get rid of the riser and put some 12" apes on my 08 custom, but don't want to lose functionality.  And the stock rise with apes doesn't work in my opinion.

i would not order from robs cycle supply, i got a seat from them not too long ago and their service sucks big time, very bad communication if you get any at all, i paid for express and they paid some 3rd world person to walk it here, they also lied when it was sent. It took 6 weeks to get here...everything else i get from the US dont take any longer than 7 business days.

well they didnt actually post it until i threatened to get paypal and mastercard involved....i had to call them on the phone just to get in contact with them, they would not answer any emails....They are the only company that i have had issues with, between myself and my miss;s we get order's from the states weekly...Some ebay sellers will only notify usps to "expect" a package for sending, and then they take their sweet ass time to actually take the package to the post office...

Well I had Rob's in mind, so thanks for feedback.  Any other companies with a good range and prices with easy online ordering?

Looking to get Wild 1 Chubby Outlaw'z 12", joker machine handlebar clamp and burly 12" wiring kit at same time.

Would like to get a spoked rear wheel, but finding one for a 25mm axle is a pain in the ass, and 883choppers seem to have dissappeared off ebay and some terrible feedback been left of late.

    try this

    http://www.sdgmotorsport.com.au/

    or lowbrow.

but be careful with the custom, the fatter tank makes it harder to see the speedo down there. apparently you can rotate it so you can see 100kmh easy, and the rest you make up as you go along.

Was worried about that, kind of defeats the purpose of the idiot lights as well I guess.  Might have to settle for yankee enginuity or OEM nightster/forty eight setup.
