Hey all, I've been following many threads about which tyres are best for mileage, traction etc, my question is - does anyone in Melbourne know the best place to purchase tyres, or is it cheaper on-line and have them put on locally?

I'm looking at white walls for an 05 Heritage Softail so that may restrict the number of tyres available.

Get Metz from walka, take your wheels off yourself and any bike shop will fit and balance for you. Easy DIY job with wheels on and off.

Thanks Walka and DaveP. I take it you consider the Metzlers the right tyres for the job. Not a heavy rider but want to feel safe. WIll jump on the site and have a look. Cheers.
