If you have'nt ridden in the rain u have'nt ridden. Get out and do it
I feel for you fundi, so much for the "Sunshine" state, eh. I'm QLD'r born and bred but at the moment it's more like "Perfect some day, underwater the next".
It's obviously not as bad down here in NSW, but there has been way too many rainy days for my liking since I picked up my Street Bob in November. It was raining the day I picked it up and I got absolutely, pouring water outta my boots, nuts in a puddle of water, soaked, on my first big ride. The old girl handled like a dream in the wet and riding in the rain just makes those glorious sunny days even better.
My suggestion, if you want it to stop raining, spend a sh*t load of money on wet weather gear. I bought mine and barely a drop of H2O on me while riding since. Best investment ever.
thanks for that pkshed

Yep feel your pain... It's been 31 days 3 hours and 42 minutes since I last rode my bike. For me it's been because I'm in the middle of moving to Rocky, Working away and stuck in Gladstone with perfect riding weather over New Years and my bike at my new place in Rocky with roads cut in between. And it didn't help any that the bloke up the road from my olds was out on his Fatboy almost every day that I was there.
But come this monday afternoon I will be back in Rocky and the cover is coming off the Fatbob even if it is just for a lap around the block!
BTW nice Fatbob you have there. A bit glossy for me but very nice.
its been raining here in the mountains so much im thinking of trading my bike in for a jet ski
thanks all liked the fatbob ever since i first seen one
new what i wanted and got it nearly went the denim and blacked out look but last minute went gloss and bling bling
looks alittle different already smoked lenses chrome on the battery cover and dropped the reflectors, has a sissy bar for the missus
i know the pipes vh everyone has but hey if you onto a good thing!

school holiday over soon and back to searching out new rides
today i rode
even if i had to work starting her up at 4 in the morning was bliss
rattling the windows of my house and others around
iddled out of the street and let her have it for the 20+ km to work f#$k it was great
didn,t want to turn into work
even the ride home was good no traffice to speak of and no boys in blue
just some wanker 20 + stone in weight on his pre 1980 herashema screamer that wanted to eye ball me at the lights for the hole red light
and rev his bike like he was about to do the quarter mile run
only to miss the green and me to ride off down the rode llike miss daisy
happy to be out and ridin in the sun f%$ĂȘn wanker
same again tomorrow
i may be working on the sunday will know later in the week
i agree with a ride to support the towns
we all ride them when its good times
i think around brisbane area there will be some poker runs starting up as soon as the roads start to be cleared up
but its always worth it when you finally get there ,
