HD1 CUSTOM PROGRAM

    I heard that in February 4th HD will launch their custom program in the US where you will be able to build your bike on line and then take your print out to

    your HD dealer to order your bike. It will start off with the Sportster only at this time, does anyone know if this will be available in AUS ? Like of their new sire is below.....

    It's a bloody good idea I reckon, that way you won't have to pay for both stock parts and replacements.

    They have had a "build your harley" option on the USA website for ages.

    The picture below was originally a custom Iron from the usa site, which I then chopped up/ raised tank/ drop seat and some more.

    I figured it was at least a good way to see the lines (in scale) of the bike with genuine bolt ons/ lowered etc

     Its meant to be different to the customizer on their website now.  Read somewhere its why the 'custom' was dropped.

    If it makes it more cost effective to specify that you want say a 48 with a nightster tank, or an iron with nighster wheels, it would be great.
