After puting V&H side shots on my bike they were fantastic, however.... kept hitting the ground alot once i lowered it 3.5". i have finally broken off the welded tabs inside the heat shields/ covers and have tried to source them and just run into about $450, thats fine. If i weld the tabs back on to the shield you will see heat marks from the outside as it is chromed.
ive allways looked at the idea of cutting them to down so there not as low. and ive now done this, i cut then infront of the baffle chamber and they look great and sound awsome. howerver they now blow flames!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its also sorta kewl!!! just wondering if this is going to cause any internal motor damage????? oh yeah 2010 1200c sporty

My BIg Radius were blowing flames (and sparks when you were rolling ) but the previous owner had not installed a tuner to compensate for the short pipe length. I put the stock SE2s back on and the performance went through the roof. Now just ocassional decel popping but previously massive backfires that had pedestians hitting the deck. I kinda miss all that
You'll need a tuner to stop it running so lean, and you'll definitely lose some power.
