Belt Drive Guard

    Hi all,

Just a quick one for some advice from the people that have done this to their bike. I am thinking of removing the belt guards off my fourty eight so it gets cleaned up a bit. The question I ask is, does it speed up the wear and tear of the belt. It is just what I have been told or was the guy bullshitting to me. If it does wear out quicker how long do think before the belt needs replacing?

    Cheers, Si

Spidey, all it takes is one small pebble to get in there and you have a broken belt.

Iv'e been riding my bike for 4 years without one,,,,, Take it off,, By law you only need one if you have a passanger seat and rear pegs fitted

Thanks for the ideas fellas, i am still thinking about doing it, i noticed i one guard underneath the swingarm, i might leave that one on and the one on top it is going to disappear. That is if they are two separate bits, I havent looked that close yet...
