Just throwing this idea out to see if anyone is interested, and doing a ride around the Cessnock/hunter valley Vineyards,
im thinking its 6 standard tastings to a standard drink in an hour, so BAC should not be a problem especially if you are selective with what you taste a couple of tastings at each and a beer at the end of the day, Very good scenic ride, thinking of leaving rutherford, straight up to Branxton to wyndham estate, back via lambs valley, lunch at Historic Neath Hotel, from there to Waverley Estate for anyone that does drink wine this is a boutique winery, no wine is under 10 years old, but expect boutique prices, and then to Draytons for a wide selection of wines and fortifieds, i know its a problem for anyone that wants to buy wine, while on a motorbike, but all these wineries mail wine. Finish up at Potters tavern.

    Hope this appeals

Just to add to the day, we're putting a $50 voucher up for grabs for lingerie to be used at Love Sick Lingerie! The winner will be chosen from a draw, just to make the day more interesting. Good prize for your wife or girlfriend (or both).

If you'd like to have a look at the lingerie, head on over to facebook for their page. Just type in the search bar (in facebook) "Love sick lingerie" or just copy and paste this link: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000493357096&v=info

Not wishing tell how to do your runs and such but this particular one is a Rowdy Mob favourite. we do it a few times a year. What we do is travel up to East maitland, stay at our favourite hotel ( stones throw from the gaol) and do the wineries on both saturday and sunday, travel home sunday afternoon. the big advantage is we take a car( usually my missus in a falcon station wagon). We do it this way as there are alot of good wineries up there and the boys like to buy plonk in bulk, and just put it in the wagon, along with there luggage. The only problem we had was a certain member bought the 25ltr port at Draytons, and wanted to put a garden hose throubh the back window of the ford and ride behind with a constant supply of port. The thing is gotta be carefull of the cops, especially around wineries. They may be ugly but not stupid. Notwithstanding all the above , does look a good day ride and will tweak the interest of a few of the boys & girls. Might have a few of the rowdy mob tag along if that is not a prob.. just love a ride through that wine country and poppa has a brand new RKC to do it on!!!

Due to a shoulder injury, and the lack of interest, I am going to have to cancel this ride. Thanks.
