I ve got some 12.5 inch shocks on the back of a 70s fl shovel frame and they keep bottoming out I put another set on that a mate gave me and they are the same.I weigh 78kgs.

Do these frames need harder shocks or are they too short.

Thanks fat pete I also put this thread in another section by mistake I dont no whats different but when the water goes down I will take my bike to someones bike shop that has older harleys and maybe it is something simple.

no its not a drop sadle frame and the shocks are standard of a 97 dyna and set at the hardest tension.
