Nightster fues keep blowing

Hi all, I have a 2009 Nightster that I got a month ago, only has 560kms on the clock (36 when I got it). Yesterday I went for a ride and my turn signals, horn and tail lights stopped working. I had blown a fuse. After swapping the fuse over I got a a few k's down the road and it blew again. When I swap it over for a new one everything works for a short while and then blows again. I have tried swapping the fuse over and not using breaks or turn signals and it will blow shortly after starting the bike or just sitting on it not started and shaking it.

I have checked for pinched wires, can't find any. Turning the handlebars does not trigger the fuse to blow as far as I can tell. I swapped over the grips 2 weeks ago so I pull appart the RHS switch housing to have a close look there, no cigar. I have tried checking the turn signal wires and the break wires to no avail. I've checked for error codes to no avail.

Is there anything I am missing? I also fitted forward controls and pipes (V&H straight shots) but am thinking this has nothing to do with the problem. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Charlie.

Thanks for the info guys. I spent another 3 hours on this and got no where so I hit up a mate to help who is a motorcycle mechanic. He spent a few hours on it because the problem is so intermitant. It turned out to be the wire harnesses under the seat were being pinched. There was little evidence of this, he just worked off a hunch and re routed all the wires under there. For the cost of a case of beer I am riding again. I would have died of frustration if I had to pull the RHS switch block appart again.

I am soon going to add some Biltwell Z bars and relocate the speedo. I will post my progress.

    Thanks again!
    Charlie.
