Belt rubbin?

    Just fitted a new rear tyre and the belt is rubbing on the edge of the tyre, to fix this I have adjusted the adjusters to bring the front of the tyre to the right slightly. Measured from the pivot bolt and there is 3mm difference, is this likely to be an issue with tyrewear. Tyre is the same as what was on it before and i marked the adjusters with paint so that the wheel is where it was previously.

    yes it will cause tyre wear but more of a problam with your belt in time wear and may start to squick and make strange noises,what size tyre are you running and where you spinnig the wheel forward anticlockwise ,if you where spinning backwards the belt will run towards the tyre  instead of away, the front pulley has a taper made into it.

    no worries  do the freeball some one else may need it ,u must have the shovel style cap  round made out of tin ?,if it is let me no i just orded a new switch for mine and thay come with the two caps  i use the same as i sent you ,back to your belt do as the other guys have said regarding the coat hanger/welding wire   if the the ajusters are 3mm thats alot
