A side or centre stand shall either:
• automatically retract when the
motorcycle is taken off the stand or
moved forward or,
• be connected so that the motorcycle
will not start or operate under its own
power unless the stand is retracted,
or an audible and visible warning
system that activates when the
ignition is switched on.
