Only new here looking at getting another Harley after nearly 15 years of sports bikes.

 

I found a softail i really like has a good history know the owner from new from a friend was keen as then they told me it had a CARBY i nearly shit lol. I have not owned a carby bike since about 1995

 

So can someone fill me in are they ok

 

anything to look out for

 

Or should i keep looking and buy an injected one

 

The bike is a 2004 softail standard

I have a 2004 Nightrain carby model, only problem I have had was the vacuum hose cracked and stuffed the advance/retard, I replaced the hose and alls good
