yes boys , it's getting harder and harder to have a win these days , was booked recently by TWO parking police , 1 with a tape measure , and 1 with a camera , apparently parked too close to the building line, fucking unbelievable .
Burra, even though footpaths are illegal for bike parking in NSW, where I am riders do it all the time and I've never seen anyone booked. A lot of community policing now is based on common-sense (e.g. you can drink in non-alcohol zones all day as long as you aren't being an idiot - if you are they step in and implement he law). Is this pretty universal or are other councils less flexible?
SJ: Having their photo taken with your ride is a complement to you. Instead of objecting you should give them a real thrill and jump in the photo.
Hey Taffy.... I hear ya. In the right situation I agree absolutely.
This was me seeing people 3 up and bouncing up and down on my bike, same one that had been knocked down and needed repainting and new derby covers (scratched) twice in 2 months.
Defensive - yes. Felt warranted at the time.
