I know this will polarise opinion but here are some pics of the Memphis Shades Bullet fairing on my 08 Fatboy. Fits nice and firm, no rattling or movement of any kind even at speed. Wind deflection good but need to take it on a longer run. Saw this on the US hdforum, it is something I have been looking for for a long time. The fairing is a quick-detach.

Yeah for sure looks great like skulznflames said, where did you get it from? And yeah any chance you could let us know and the price that would be muchly appreciated

Good idea that it's a quick release item as well.

Bought it from J&P Cycles online. All up including shipping it was $393 which in the scheme of all things HD isn't too bad but not cheap. The actual fairing was only USD$99, the quick release fitting was USD$137 but the shipping was $157!!!!  I'm going for a run tomorrow so I'll post back when I've given it a good test run!

Any chance you'll be riding down Baldivis way, south of the river? Be great to check it out in person....

Looks fantastic. A fairing on a harley gives the bike a whole new dimension, not everyones cup of tea but would make a big difference with the locusts. And the quick release is a great idea.

Had a good run down to Pinjarra today (nice to meet you Baldivis!) and I'm pleased to report the fairing is the real deal - fantastic! Cruising at 140+ would be not problem and I arrived fresh as a daisy!! Can still attach my utility bag to the bars and it stays nice and snug under the screen which is great.  The top 20% of your head is still in a reduced wind flow but no pressure on the chest and shoulders so very relaxed, and if you wanted to crack 200kph you'd just duck down a couple inches and then you really would be riding a bullet (of course I didn't officer!). This definitely is one of the best things I've bought for the bike and would thoroughly recommend it!

Good work! $270!!! They offer a snail mail delivery option that's only $34 whereas I went for the 'get it to me as fast as you can' option! Patience pays!

    Looks great, and practical.

How difficult is the mounting kit to install? Any drilling required?
