Rear suspension on new '09 later touring frame Vs Softail question

    Hey fellas,

    Thinking about trading my '10 Deluxe for a '11 Road King for smoother more plush ride (I have a fucked back)....

    How is the rear suspension of the new tourers??? Are they truly a big improvement over the softails?  I only weigh 72kgs and always ride solo - worried the RK suspension might be a bit too FIRM....

    Yeah i just changed my tyre's on the RK 09 i got 27,000kms from both of them 407's. Now got 408 on the back 407 on the front.

    Changed them at the same time.

    Picked up my new RKC in December 2010. I am 58 years old and have owned many cars and bikes. To date the RKC is the nicest piece of kit I have ever owned. Love that 103 cu in engine and the handling is far better than my old (96) Glide. Can recommend the bike.
