Contaminated oil

    Yeah R.T. as I was reading I was thinking that it doesn't resemble anything I have seen or heard of, hopefully if someone has dropped something into the tank you have got to it soon enough and it hasn't done any damage. Have you left the bike anywhere lately that some prick could have gotten to it ??

    Hi RT,

    I have only seen that phenomenon in Sporties, that are usually riding in cold weather, for short periods, oil changes at long intervals, and non syn oils.

    But I know you live in Qld, ride long distances and do your own services.

    I will be interested in the results, good luck and see ya at bike week, I will be bringing a few  camera's as usual, so dont enter the wet tee shirt comp, wozza tells me he is going to win anyway.

    Be interesting what you find (or don't) and next change. If you had a resevior would be looking there but not the case here. I'm guessing you buy your oil in bulk. Is it metal or plastic containers?
