Hi Peoples,I have been a little croook and went to start my bike and BAM,a flat battery.

So my question is,if i disconect the battery to charge it up,will i have to reset my bike computer with all that password and stuff once i reconect it?

Any assistance would be apreciated.

Mate ,I don't think you will lose the settings when you disconnect the battery,I took the earth off to connect my fuelshot and everything worked ok when re-connected,I think it reverts back to the default settings.Read your manual re battery removal if you have an alarm fitted, or wear earmuffs.

Hey guys many thanks for the input,i have read the manual and it really doesn't say anything,so i guess i will just have to go out and see what happens.As my bike has the alarm and all that computer stuff,it freaks me out if i am doing the right thing.Its all the computer stuff that is stressing me out,otherwise i would just rip the battery out and charge it up.
Will try later when feeling better,but again thanks for the input.

 08 there is a back-up battery that protects the settings when the main battery is disconnected.
