i'm thinkin about doin a dual front disk  conversion  on my wide glide ( when i have the money!)

just wanna get a bit of an idea of what involved and roughly how much i'd be lookin at

is it just a matter of buying;

a different pair of lower legs (with the calliper mounts on both sides obviously);

2 brake callipers;

a dual disk master cylinder/lever;

extra brake lines;

and can you just bolt another disk on a stock wheel or does that need to be changed too??

did i miss anything??

 

I could be wrong but Ive been told that you must change the front springs , because of the rate that the bike drops under braking

yeah i could go with a better caliper but i also like the way that the twin disk looks...

looks great with the twin disks
