Hey guys
New here and thought I would pop in and say .....hi !
My back ground has been dirt bikes and always looked at the harleys in the bike shop for many years , each time saying " One day i'm gunna get one of those "
Well now some 25 years on I'm now in the position to ' get me a Harley '...so i've done a lot of reading up about the different models but of course a book can only tell you so much .
My pick will be a soft tail or a dyna .................road king is cool , but just not ready for one of those yet
Just a question I would like to know....... I like the soft tail for it's lines , and its seperate oil tank , but i dig the dynas as I've been told about their handling .
Could some body out there please give me the pro's and con's on owning each ...as not too many people would let you take their bike for a hour ...
any help is welcome , and thank you for spending time to answer my question

Thanks Phantom ..thats a good line about " we're been riding harleys for ages and still dont know what one to get " ..I can relate to that ..hey read all of you script and can hear where your comming from , i did have a ride of a night train a few years ago ...and man !!! ...didn't want to go around that round-a bout very well . hahaha i think I even stopped and put a foot down !!

Welcome Timmey hope you enjoy the forums.Your rite when you say dynas handle better but i do think the soft tail dose have better lines.If you are serious and you sound like you are most dealers will go out with you on a ride.I cant say it would be an hour but it should be enough to get a feel of what bike you prefer.Well good luck Timmey on what ever bike you get.
