How did it go Skull did you get one fitted to your ride ?

I wouldn't mind knowing what you paid if you don't mind. I'm thinking of grabbing one too, but I would prefer one that shields my head from the wind if I'm going to bother at all.

Looks neat Skull, but not my cup of tea, had one on the last bike & it use to aim the wind right at me head. Also deflected the really big bugs straight at me, PITA.

How dose it affect the handleing at speeds above 110 ?

I know a few guys who swear by them, others who won't. Horses for courses I guess.

And I do like those handlebar grips. Very tempting! I must remember they're $110.00+ per pair to curb some enthusiasm.

Just on the helmet lifting at +100km/h speeds, mine has a tendancy - and is a bloody distraction. I use a beanie/toque under it in cold weather and it makes it sit snug. Might try bandanas with summer coming.

I was quoted $598.00 form the local Harley dealer in Adelaide,  I am getting the same screen from M & M's for $458.85 landed at my front door.(That's all in Australian $$$'s)

I reckon the screen is the same as yours ('Quick Release Detachable Compact Windscreen'  - Harley  Part No 58063-04)

I've since checked out a few of bits and pieces from M & M's and that's where I will be shopping in the future .... it appears we really do get ripped off from our local dealers!!
