    Hi All

So I had the Forty Eight 2011 for two months 700km been riding to/back from work. This morning riding to work the clutch start slipping.. and eventually stopped moving... call harley-assist and towed to the bike to harley dealership. I been riding the bike very softly due to the break in period... so how did the clutch burn-out.

And the harley mechanic just rang and said the clutch burn-out and clutch is not covered by the warranty??? that's bull??

Any suggestion on what i have done wrong?

No way a clutch should stuff up after 700km's, it was a dud.  Fancy them saying it's not a warranty issue, bullshit, glad they did right in the end.

     Thanks all.

Got it back from the dealer.. Look like they might not have setup the clutch play properly and I rode clutch to burn out point. They told me to keep an eye on the free play on the lever.. if there is no free play being the bike back.

Break in period? Should read "ride it like you stole it"
