Does anyone here own or have owned a 1980 FLT. I see there are some differences in the wheel bearings. I was wondering if it was posible to change the wheels. Do i have to change the swingarm as well? New to your forum so i hope this is in the right spot.

The bearings on the FLT are completly different to all other hogs in that they have 4 bearings to cope with the weight of the enclosed chain guard I guess. Not only does the wheel have its bearings but the sprocket and the brake disc have there own roller tapered bearings. One of the inside bearings is actualy a needle bearing. The brake disc is so fat to accomadate it's bearing. thats what lead me to think they might have a different swingarm. If i can figure out how ( I am new to forums ) I will post a pic explaining all.
