You were right to complain, lives, especially yours were/are at risk, Workcover should be advised as they would be picking up the tab for resulting incompetency.
Top dollar was paid, top workmanship is expected, steelers/businesses cut corners to make $$
Buy a service manual and study, this will be invaluable knowledge even if you never service the bike yourself.

Ive sent letters and theyve been received, but am in the sunny UK (would hate to live here, even though the
suburbs of Perth have been burning these last few days)for a few more weeks so I wont get a response till Im home.
I'll wait for a definitive resolution before I post the outcome here, at least as a courtesy to the people Im dealing with.
