Gday all

I am at a loss as to what to use or why my black  (solid) panniers are turning a hazy white colour when they get wet, when they dry the white haze dissapears.

I have polished them, no change. The panniers and paint  are in a good condition

Probably got a lot of polish on them over the years that discolors with water. Try washing with some sort of polish and tar remover then starting all over again with the polish, or use a cut and polish compound to achieve the same results.

I had the same trouble with a car once. High pressure washing was the cause and I couldn't solve it. When I sold it it still looked the same.
