is a 1996 softail rear the same size as a 2007? i want to put a 2007 wheel in my 1996 heatage softail.
can any one help with this info.
also will all softail seats fit other softails etc?

ahh so i cant put the 200 size wheel in my 1996 arse end ? and i cant change the arse end to a 2007 one then fit the bigger wheel? bugger. how wide can i go with my heratige arse end its got a 130 in it now.
You can buy wide arse kits to go on earlier softails...I think they start at around the 2g's mark without the wheel and tire...It has been discussed in here in length so if you do a search you should find plenty of info....i have a 2004 Fatboy seat on my 1995 FXSTC and it fits fine....I did try a 2008 standard seat and although it fitted it just didn't look right....

might try a 180 on mine sounds like it will fit without any mods.
are all 1340 evo heads the same will thay fit on any 1340 evo duzz any one know?

i might just look into getting a wheel that will fit mine as it is a centerline or somthing.
yer the fender is guna just fit the 130 wide wheel under it if i put a load on the back.
its got a 16/130 in frount and back i was looking to make my heratage look more like a fatboy.
just get the angle grinder and mig welder out should sort it out ok..lol. just kidding..
think im just guna try find some centerlines or some cast wheels that look good that fut under my standard ass end.
