Guys any suggestions to what closed loop bias I should use to complete my data runs for my 2010 1200 Custom? And what should I set them to when I have finalised the vtune??
Good question when you find out I would be interested to know.
The latest update recommends 664, but It dosn't change in those increments, it was ever 660 or 680.
What I ended up doing was leaving it where it was and doing my V tunes like that.
What I found was while doing my tunes the old girl ran fairly hot compared to normal, but once I had finished and put the AFR back to original, it ran a lot cooler.
I also found you have to give it a good floggin to get the high TPS readings on the charts, as I said in my post, I rode it like I stole it in my last 2 V tunes.
And you will be plesantly surprised with the difference it makes.
Just the canned map you start on will make your old girl boogie and it just gets better every V tune.
Hope this helps
best thing about this system, is if your not happy you can fiddle with it until you get it where you like it.
Bakes
I have S&S slip on's and a Hypercharger Pro R and mate what a difference it makes, I was upto 165 in third and and ran out of road and it was still pulling hard.
goodluck with your runs.
Don't know what rain is over this side
Mate I noticed the same when I was doing my Vtunes, but when I set the CLB back to original it stopped.
Guys, here is a sample of 2 data runs, do you think I have enough data for the Vtune process??
Thats the question ive been interested in as well, thanks Oz.
would it pay to redo the Vtunes?
Thanks OZ
I decide to redo my Vtunes as well, and all I can say is "it just gets better"
I had the CLB set at 700 for the Vtunes, went for a ride today with CLB set at 700, got home change CLB to 680 and now she just runs as smooth as.
