Sonic Mufflers + 04 Wide Glide = job done (Krash FYI)

    Picked up a set of Sonic's from Jim at Outercycle in Melbourne. Now THAT's how my old Superglide used to sound! Like one quarter of a blown big block chevy!    Hence, the slightly too quiet Khromewerks up for sale (another thread).

    I had trouble fitting the stock clamps! Had to grind down the wedge a bit - bloody fiddly things.  I got it eventually, but not really happy with the fit. Sealed it with high temp silicon and all that though, so should be ok.

     

    Be curious when I get around to checking the jetting and giving it a dyno run, see if there's any change from the Khromewerks....
    I like the Khromewerks, but really missed the agressive note of my old bike with the Sonics...

    Hey Nado , where did ya get the Sonics from. Heard a few good things about them. Might go that way myself.
