Ok guys, i just ran my Softail for the first time, at WSID

Stock 88cube 2005 night train with Vance & Hines Big Radius 2-2.

    1/4 mile times were - 13.3, 13.3, 13.2, 13.3, 13.2, 13.4 all around the 156km mark

    60ft times were all 1.7 & 1.8.

All time sheet details available if you want specifics.

Im pretty happy with the results considering its my first time to the track and the engine hasnt been worked..... yet.

    Would like to crack 12.5

Pretty stoked considering its my first time and i have only been riding street bikes since Feb.

(Couldnt find another thread so i started this one, apologies)

not bad 60ft times ,what was the reaction times? to get it down to 12.5 you may have to spend some dollars or loose weight..Cams and BSS and air will definitely wake her up

All between 0.645 & 0.873 but i wasnt going for the reaction time as i knew it didnt count towards my ET.
Not going to bother going back until i get some work done to the bike.
Still undecided on what to do, Stage 4 and keep it 88ci or go something BIG like the 113ci....

    Decision decisions!

Well done on getting to the track. It's heaps of fun and the safest place to go fast. In my opinion I'd be looking at heads and gear drive cams first. Just be careful as it can become addictive especially if you win a meet, you just wanna keep going faster. I'd love to come down to WSID to have a go at the sreaming eagles bracket one time. Either way just enjoy what you've got and concentrate on refining your race craft.
