I ride my bike each day no matter what the weather. A week ago we had a lot of rain, even flooding. This week I have noticed that during a 45k trip, the bike will get this splutter / fart and loose power abruptly for about a split second.  This will happen about 3 times in a trip.

Could this be a fuel thing like water in the fuel or need a fuel filter replacing or is it more likely electrical? Only seems to happen when cruising not when I am accelerating hard.
 

hey sprocket i had a similar problem on my 07 sporty, but only did it at like 40 ks not 110 it would run fine at speed or under accel,
it was due to a very bad lot of fuel in my bike and i pyhsically had to clean out the fuel tank a few times, by removing the tank.
then even with fresh fuel it still done it even after cleaning filters,
i bought a TTS from the states its a tuner in case you didnt know, downloaded the base map and no more running problems then done the v tunes and its loke a new bike, i konw you may not want to spend money but its the only way i could get rid of the spluttering problem hope this helps in any way
