Hey fellas,
Was working on the bike on the weekend. Putting some pipes on her. Was trying to put the nut back on that holds the pipes to the engine. It fell and I can't find it.
Looking for a replacement, does anyone the size of the nut? It's a flanged nut.
Went to the hardware store, they had 8m and 5/16s but they didnt match the nut I lost. Is it a special Harley nut?
For 2010 Sportster Iron 883.

5/16-24 is more commonly known as 5/16 UNF,they would be readily available at you local nut and bolt shop in a variety of materials and coatings, if your inclined you could buy yourself some thread guages and a thread chart and teach yourself to identify threads.
