changes to fxdx

    Here is some pics of my brothers fxdx we did some stuff to a couple months ago

    fitted 49mm forks, accutronix trees, 21" wheel, digital speedo tacho, wrapped the pipes, chopped the back guard, headlight and tail light

    oh yeah also fitted a 160 rear tyre and 17" wheel off 06 dyna, and drag bars from deadwood

    Man I'm digging that digital speedo, where is mounted to? The arse end now looks like a Street Bob without the shitty tail light the Bob's have. That a Wide Glide front rim and is that still the stock front guard?

    Very nice work mate, good to see the bars put to good use to, that front end looks brilliant.

    Great look where did you get that black fine weave wrap from what brand is it. Nice ride.Did you paint those shocks??

    Hey Dingo, just got me Burly Brand shocks which are a rebranded Progressive's (so i am told), did you have to get different strut mounting bolts?

    By the time I slide the top of the shock on there is no thread left.

    Had to change the bolts, the mounts on the original shocks were offset.

     I can answer that one Wayco.  The FXDX had twin discs as standard.

    yes mate, they are standard on the fxdx so the master cylinder, rotor and caliper are all stock and the legs are off a late model tourer as well as the hub. was a bitch finding parts to match up.
