Hi all, I have a weekend pass out of the nut house, have had the fatty in pieces looking for this fault for about a month and a half, pulled out the whole wiring harness .........nothing to report there, have fitted a potentiaometre or however you spell it, to bypass the bank angle sensor,,going for a test ride tomorrow..........hope the hell it solves the gremlin within..............will report back tomorrow night or either I,ll be back in a straight jacket and off to the nut house again..............................

Whoo Hoo , did 400 kms yesterday in all conditions and wadda ya know............didnt stop once.
So it turns out to be just this, after many hours and expense, all the problem was that the the bank angle sensor is screwed onto the frame under the battery, initially thort it was this but after purchasing a new sensor it still faulted.
Well it turns out that coz me ride doesnt have engine or box mounts as we all know,at just that certain revs and speed , a harmonic vibration developed just enough to vibrate the little ball in the sensor to lift it off its seat and kill the ignition,
I should have tweeked to this much earlier, especially after it did it once free reving it.
I think that mine is a one off in some such way developing the vibration and just enough to cause it,hence not having anyone else with the same fault.
Maybe thats why after my model the bank sensor is in the TSM and not separate ?>
Well I feel much releived now and can down dose the medication,,, ha
Its been a bloody frustrating one for me.
I THANK ALL ON THIS FORUM WHO HAVE RESPONDED TO ME WITH APPRECIATED CONCERN.I NOW RIDE WITH DELIGHT ONCE AGAIN.
Just shows that you must never give up.
