Just a quick question how fast can you ride with a springer front end

I have heard not much over 140 km

Is there a issue at high speeds with them or are the new one capable of handling this regularly

Modern springer front ends are far more stable at any speed than the standard Harley front end.

OK i got the flame and shame suit on...i have run the STD HD front end out to 190 tapped out on the 09 XBones and would push it harder if it could go harder...seems fine untill you start to corner thats when the trouble starts..i boiled it bdown to the ape hangers, giving me the tank slapper feeling..only a very few have seen how bad it was pushing it at 160-180 in the sweepers, Fucken scary shit man...now after changing the bars and putting upgraded shockies front and rear...this thing handles better than my fatboy...im stoked

Thanks crasher I am looking at buying a after market springer front end good to hear you can ride that fast I sometimes run around the 180 mark when riding with my brother so I was nt sure they could handle these speeds plus any bike can be a bit rough at that speed

Are you saying is ok now the shocks have been changed to after market on the hd springer front end???

    Thanks.

H6...it is definitely 100% Better and safer to ride with the after market shocks...i have chosen Fournales Air Spring front and rear shockies for the CrossBones and still in the break in stages before i can start playing with the pressures to find the right combination for street use, and road use....i give them a big fugggin thumbs up so have a set goin on the Fatty too....I'm sure there is a cheaper better product on the market...i just bought at the right time when the dollar was good and off shore...
