The last "Stone run" I went on was 2001, was always a good day out. Don't know if they still do it, had a very heavy police presence in 01 as I think that was the year after the "angry" incident.

From memory the year that a heap came off was an anniversary  run.

Went on a recent Stone Run in Victoria earlier this year from Dandenong to the Vietnam Vets club house in Longwarry.

It was well attended and very nostalgic to be part of it.

The Legend of Stone still lives.

aaah STONE, I wore out my original tape over the years. Good thing the discs dont wear out. I have a couple dozen biker movies and in my opinion Stone is the best, they sure made a classic. Don't go much on the yank classic (easy rider).

This thread inspired me to drop down to JB Hi Fi and grab a copy of Stone for myself. Hadn't seen it for years, was just as good as I remember.

DVDs and CDs do wear out - or to be more exact the dye fades. The cheaper the disc (usually) the quicker it happens. They do, usually, last longer than tape though.
