Heavy Breather & ECM

My better half bought me a Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather for my 103 Stage 4 Roady.

The Instructions with the Heavy Breather say I have to recalibrate the ECM (Electronic Control Module) before I fit it.  Problem is if I recalibrate the ECM before I fit the HB I have to ride it at least 30ks to get home.  Would this do more damage having it recalibrated before fitting it or recal after I fit it and ride 30ks .  Wouldn't be surprised if HD just want some more work.

    Look forward to your comments.

Have a great siferlus and a happy gonarear.

More info regarding your Stage 4 build would be helpful, but if you already have a SE air intake (or other unrestricted intake) to complement your stage 4 build I think you should be able to travel 30k's taking it easy with the SEHB. Can't you fit the heavy breather at home yourself then recal if necessary? If you can recal yourself you surely can fit the HB-- unless I'm not understanding something in your post....
